‘Each piece of artwork causes it’s viewer to fall into another world, one beyond the boundaries of reality in which they can consume the emotion; a fragment of someone’s inner being that can help them to feel what someone else is feeling, see what someone else can see, and live, for a split second, in a completely different moment of time.’ Author, Leo Tolstoy claimed “…it is upon the capacity of man to receive another man's expression of feeling and experience those feelings himself, that the activity of art is based.”

Painting primarily on canvasses using acrylics or oils, I like to embody human life within my work, painting beyond the boundaries of literal art. A strong use of light and colour is used to enhance a powerful physical presence and the mood of the painting and the emotions aroused are of paramount importance.

Using only the highest quality gallery canvas boards and pigment based acrylics or oils, my artwork will be sure to last many lifetimes.’
